Best Ribs Ever!!! Great Friendly Service. Better than any trendy chain restaurant. You can pay up to $15 maybe even more for a mediocre plate of ribs, but for $12 you get a delicious plate of ribs and sides. And who can resist a little ice cream after, and it's free. They only deliver catering!!

If I was basing my review on the sandwich I got today it would have been a 1; but I have had plenty of good food from them previously so I am not sure what happened. I ordered their Big Barbecue chicken sandwich and it was like eating flavored cardboard it was so dry. I'd suggest a little tighter quality control from here on out.

You should tell people that they have to choose sliced or chopped brisket. And if I don't want two sides then I shouldn't have to order two sides. Your fried okra is to salty. I love my BBQ but I am not happy with this Dicky's at all. Makes me miss the Texas Dicky's. Not bad food over all but your ribs have no smoked flavor because there smothered is sause. Every time I go I have to fight with the cashier because they force me to get two sides when I don't want them. What if I just want the meat? No because I have to get the sides. Not happy with this place been looking for a mom and pop BBQ joint in town and will keep looks cause Dicky's isn't doing the job.

Delicious! Fast, Friendly service and the free ice cream for dessert was a hit! Shared the Wrangler sandwich which I liked with pulled pork and the Beef Brisket, the baked potato casserole was a great side!

When this Dickeys first opened and we discovered it, we were excited, real Texas BBQ not to far from where we live in MT. We ate there several times and it was good. Last two times we ate there it was mediocre at best. I like to get the sliced brisket sandwich and these boys simply do not know how to slice brisket. Tonight we were in Idaho Falls and since I had a birthday coupon for a free BBQ sandwich we decided to give Dickeys another try. Boy was this a mistake. They slice their brisket with the grain of the meat and as a result, the stuff is stringy and hard to chew. I ate about half of if before my teeth could take no more. In addition, the stuff tasted like glorified roast beef, no smoked flavor at all. Dickeys, you need to read the article about slicing brisket that is in Texas Monthly Magazine, texasmonthly.com/story/h… It opens with "Friends don't let friends slice with the grain". The article contains excerpts from some of the world renown pit masters such as Aaron Franklin. All I can say is you folks at Dickeys need to read this article and when you learn to properly slice brisket, I'll be back. Oh by the way, the cold slaw was very good, but guys sweet tea is called sweet tea for a reason and someone forgot to put the sweet in yours tonight

We used dickys catering for our chiropractic and legislators event. It was a little last minute but they helped us pull it together in less than 3 days. They delivered promptly to our event location and offered to come back and help clean up. The food was hot and delicious. They even took special care to separate foods for gluten intolerant guests. Many of the guests mentioned how delicious it was. And it was about $200 cheaper all around. They found some lemonade for our event so that we could have a non carbonated option. Thanks dickeys!!

I would consider myself as having quite a bit of BBQ knowledge. As far as Texas versus Louisiana, I would not know much. However, for Idaho alone I have tried a few and so far Dickey's has been my only let down. I ordered the family pack and got sliced brisket, pork ribs, potato salad, cole slaw and bbq beans as well as the bread that comes with it. I started with the pork ribs and like the sign said "fall off the bone ribs" it lived up to its name. It was tender, moist and fell right off the bone with every bite. I tried the brisket next and it was moist and fell apart by a slight tug and in the bbq world for texture it would have lived up to the standard. Here is where the problem exists and why I graded so low. Both the ribs and brisket had absolutely no smoke flavor. The ribs had a bbq sauce glazed over them which for a typical restaurant would have been decent. However, dickeys website mentions how they smoke their meet. As I took a bite of each I looked for that lovely smoke flavor and ring. To my disappointment there was none. Basically the brisket tasted like poorly seasoned roast. Matter of fact, there almost wasn't any seasoning on it. I opted to dip into the complimentary bbq sauce to help it out. Still even with sauce it just was not that good. The ribs were good, honestly if you don't prefer smoke then you will probably think these ribs are the best. They have all the qualities of really good bbq, had there been a great smokiness to the meat they probably would have been in my top 5 ribs. The sides themselves were just okay. The bbq beans were decent. Just imagine baked beans with a slight smokiness to them. The potato salad was very creamy and had a pickle like flavor. Not something I am used to. I took a few bites and decided it wasn't for me. The coleslaw was good. It's your basic coleslaw, nothing impressive. Keep in mind I did not try everything yet. My review is only for what I have tasted. I would not doubt there are better menu items. I will probably try the other items just to see how they are. If what I ordered was all they had then I would go elsewhere or even bbq my own food. I have had way better bbq then what I had today with Dickeys. I won't say what bbq is better because this is only about dickeys food. If you want to read my other reviews of other restaurants please click my name to see them. Happy BBQ,,,,,,,,

The BBQ is really baseline here, but the meat quality is pretty good, and their prices are fair. Customer service is pleasant and efficient. Plus, you can order by the half-pound, which is great for someone like me with dietary restrictions (don't touch carbs, load up on fatty meats). There are pickles, sweet tea, and free ice cream inside. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place. Try the brisket.
